German reunification day is next Thursday, October 3rd, and we are going to show one of my favorite movies of all time – “Goodbye, Lenin!” It’s a classic!!

Will be shown in German with English subtitles, so if you don’t like to read, better brush up on your German.

Film Summary: In 1990 East Berlin, to protect his fragile mother from a fatal shock after a long coma, a young man must keep her from learning that her beloved nation of East Germany as she knew it has disappeared.
